General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CBAS007) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human AGER. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. AGER, or the advanced glycosylation end-product specific receptor, plays a critical role in the relationship between aging and various diseases. This receptor, part of the immunoglobulin superfamily, interacts with advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and other ligands, triggering pro-inflammatory responses that are implicated in age-related conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. The accumulation of AGEs in tissues is accelerated in diabetes and contributes to vascular complications, while AGER signaling is linked to the inflammatory processes that exacerbate Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. Thus, AGER serves as a key mediator in the interplay between aging, inflammation, and disease progression, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for age-related diseases.
DMAB-CBAS007 is suitable for use in ELISA(Cap) application.
DMAB-CBAS007 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), carrier-free, with optional 0.09% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
