Clone 10B6 is a rat monoclonal antibody that specifically neutralizes mouse Endotrophin. Its key mechanistic actions include: Inhibition of Chemokine Activity: Blocks ETP-mediated recruitment of endothelial cells (e.g., MS-1 line) and macrophages into the tumor microenvironment. This activity is independent of TGF-β signaling. Inhibition of Angiogenesis: Suppresses ETP-induced endothelial cell migration and tube formation in vitro. Attenuation of Tumor Stromal Expansion: In vivo, it inhibits ETP-driven fibrosis and infiltration of stromal cells (α-SMA+ myofibroblasts, FSP-1+ fibroblasts, CD31+ endothelial cells, F4/80+ macrophages). No Direct Anti-Proliferative Effect on Cancer Cells: Does not significantly affect the proliferation rate of cancer cells themselves.
