General Notes

This antibody can be used for evaluation of Duocarmycin-based antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Duocarmycin is a class of potent antitumor compounds derived from the bacterium Streptomyces species. Duocarmycin works by intercalating into the DNA minor groove and causing DNA strand cleavage, ultimately inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells. Due to its specificity and high potency, duocarmycin is being explored for use in ADCs as a targeted cancer therapy.
