Introduction
Nonspecific lipid transfer proteins (nsLTPs) are expressed throughout the plant tissues. They are characterized by a typical cysteine pattern forming disulfide bonds and are known as important allergens in fruits and tree nuts. Sensitization to nsLTP Cor a 8.0101 has been shown to be clearly more frequent among patients with hazelnut allergy in the Mediterranean area than the northern parts of Europe.
Antigen Description
Recombinant allergen Corylus avellana Cor a 8.0101. Full-length cDNA coding for Cor a 8.0101 fused to a deca-histidine purification tag
