This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1269W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against dog Can f 2. Can f 2 is a dog-derived respiratory allergen originating from Canis lupus familiaris. It is a secretoglobin (uteroglobin-like) protein primarily produced in salivary glands and skin, and it becomes airborne through dander and saliva-contaminated particles. Can f 2 is a relatively small, secreted protein and contributes to IgE-mediated sensitization in individuals with dog allergy, leading to symptoms such as allergic rhinitis and asthma. Although less dominant than Can f 1, Can f 2 is clinically relevant in component-resolved diagnostics (CRD) for distinguishing genuine dog sensitization from cross-reactivity with other mammalian allergens. CABT-L1269W is suitable for use in ELISA application. CABT-L1269W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
