General Notes
Clone M0418 is a monoclonal antibody originally generated against Bet v 1, the major pollen allergen of European white birch (Betula verrucosa). The antibody recognizes a linear epitope on Bet v 1, specifically corresponding to residues I56–D69 – a continuous sequence located in the C‑terminal region of the allergen. Although the epitope is linear, its native conformation is essential for binding, which is typical for conformational epitopes of major allergens. Clone M0418 is widely used as a research tool in allergy and structural immunology, particularly for studying Bet v 1‑specific IgE responses.
