This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5845) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human THRSP. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with THRSP from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is similar to the gene product of S14, a rat gene whose expression is limited to liver and adipose tissue and is controlled by nutritional and hormonal factors. This gene has been shown to be expressed in liver and adipocytes, particularly in lipomatous modules. It is also found to be expressed in lipogenic breast cancers, which suggests a role in controlling tumor lipid metabolism. CABT-BL5845 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications. CABT-BL5845 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
