This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3368) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SLCO1A2. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a sodium-independent transporter which mediates cellular uptake of organic ions in the liver. Its substrates include bile acids, bromosulphophthalein, and some steroidal compounds. The protein is a member of the SLC21A family of solute carriers. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. CABT-BL3368 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application. CABT-BL3368 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
