This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3170) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RNMT. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RNMT from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Predicted to enable RNA binding activity and mRNA 5'-cap (guanine-N7-)-methyltransferase activity. Acts upstream of or within cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor. Predicted to be located in fibrillar center and nucleoplasm. Predicted to be part of mRNA cap methyltransferase RNMT:RAMAC complex; mRNA capping enzyme complex; and receptor complex. Predicted to be active in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; cardiovascular system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; and skin. Orthologous to human RNMT (RNA guanine-7 methyltransferase). CABT-BL3170 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications. CABT-BL3170 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
