General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2652) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human NPTX1, targeting the amino acid region 201–300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NPTX1 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by protein A. NPTX1 is a member of the neuronal pentraxin gene family. Neuronal pentraxin 1 is similar to the rat NP1 gene which encodes a binding protein for the snake venom toxin taipoxin. Human NPTX1 mRNA is exclusively localized to the nervous system.
CABT-BL2652 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL2652 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
