General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2437) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MLLT1, targeting the amino acid region 130–480 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MLLT1, officially known as the MLLT1 super elongation complex subunit gene (also referred to as ENL for eleven-nineteen leukemia), encodes a protein that functions as a chromatin reader and key component of the super elongation complex (SEC), which enhances the catalytic rate of RNA polymerase II-mediated transcription elongation. Located on chromosome 19p13.3, the gene consists of 15 exons and produces a protein with a characteristic YEATS domain that binds to acetylated lysine residues on histones, facilitating epigenetic regulation of gene expression. MLLT1 is ubiquitously expressed across human tissues, with particularly high levels in the placenta and ovary, and it plays essential roles in cellular processes such as hematopoiesis and development.
CABT-BL2437 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL2437 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
