General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5160) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human METTL11A, targeting the amino acid region 1–223 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human METTL11A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. METTL11A, also known as NTMT1 (Nα-trimethyllysine hydrolase), is an enzyme that belongs to the methyltransferase-like (METTL) protein family. It plays a crucial role in epigenetic processes, particularly in the methylation of proteins, which can influence gene expression and other cellular functions. METTL11A is regulated by other members of the METTL family, such as METTL11B and METTL13, which can either activate or inhibit its function.
CABT-BL5160 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
CABT-BL5160 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
