General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5005) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KLHDC1, targeting the amino acid region 233–406 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human KLHDC1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. KLHDC1 (Kelch Domain Containing 1) encodes a protein that contains Kelch-repeat domains, which typically form β-propeller structures involved in protein–protein interactions. Proteins with Kelch domains often function as substrate adaptors in E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes or as scaffolding proteins that organize multiprotein assemblies. KLHDC1 is predicted to be involved in ubiquitin-mediated protein turnover, cytoskeletal organization, or regulation of intracellular signaling pathways through selective binding to target proteins. Expression data suggest tissue distribution across multiple organs, though it may show higher relevance in specific cellular contexts such as reproductive or metabolically active tissues. Like many Kelch domain proteins, its precise physiological substrates and molecular mechanisms remain incompletely characterized. Overall, KLHDC1 is considered a putative regulatory protein likely involved in protein quality control or signaling network modulation, but direct experimental evidence defining its specific biological role is still limited.
CABT-BL5005 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL5005 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
