Immunogen
Fusion protein corresponding to residues near the N terminal of human potassium voltage-gated channel, subfamily H (eag-related), member 6
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4955) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KCNH6. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume. This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily H. This member is a pore-forming (alpha) subunit. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different isoforms.
CABT-BL4955 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:100–1:200) applications.
CABT-BL4955 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
