General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1757) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HBEGF, targeting the amino acid region 20–62 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HBEGF from mouse, rat, pig, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Enables growth factor activity; heparin binding activity; and transmembrane receptor protein tyrosine kinase activator activity. Involved in several processes, including epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway; positive regulation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B signal transduction; and positive regulation of wound healing. Located in cell surface. Is active in extracellular space. Implicated in glomerulosclerosis and perinatal necrotizing enterocolitis.
CABT-BL1757 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL1757 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
