This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4698) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FXR2, targeting the amino acid region 261–360 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FXR2 from rat, mouse, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a RNA binding protein containing two KH domains and one RCG box, which is similar to FMRP and FXR1. It associates with polyribosomes, predominantly with 60S large ribosomal subunits. This encoded protein may self-associate or interact with FMRP and FXR1. It may have a role in the development of fragile X cognitive disability syndrome.
CABT-BL4698 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications.
CABT-BL4698 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
