General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL671) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C1orf93, targeting the amino acid region 1–198 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C1ORF93 (Chromosome 1 Open Reading Frame 93) is a poorly characterized protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted intracellular protein with no well-defined functional domains or enzymatic motifs. As such, its precise molecular function remains unknown and is primarily inferred from sequence conservation and expression data. C1ORF93 is conserved across vertebrate species, suggesting it may play an evolutionarily conserved cellular role, although this role has not yet been experimentally elucidated. Expression profiling indicates that it is broadly expressed across multiple tissues without strong tissue-specific enrichment. At present, there are no well-established biochemical pathways or disease associations linked to C1ORF93, and it remains an uncharacterized open reading frame awaiting functional validation. CABT-BL671 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. CABT-BL671 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
