General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL510) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human C11ORF57, targeting the amino acid region 121–220 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with C11ORF57 from rat, mouse, cow, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. C11ORF57 (Chromosome 11 Open Reading Frame 57) encodes a poorly characterized human protein with no well-defined catalytic domains. Available transcriptomic data indicate broad but relatively low-level expression across tissues, suggesting a general regulatory or structural role rather than tissue-specific function. While its precise biological activity remains unclear, C11ORF57 is conserved among vertebrates, implying functional importance. Further studies are required to define its cellular localization, interaction partners, and potential involvement in signaling or homeostatic pathways.
CABT-BL510 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL510 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
