General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL509) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C11orf57, targeting the amino acid region 1–268 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human C11orf57 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C11ORF57 (Chromosome 11 Open Reading Frame 57) is a poorly characterized protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted intracellular protein lacking well-defined functional domains or enzymatic motifs. As a result, its molecular function remains largely unknown and is primarily inferred from sequence conservation and gene expression profiles. C11ORF57 is conserved across vertebrate species, suggesting that it may perform an evolutionarily conserved cellular role, although this role has not yet been experimentally determined. Expression data indicate that it is broadly expressed across multiple tissues, without strong tissue-specific enrichment. At present, no well-established biochemical pathways, protein interaction partners, or disease associations have been definitively linked to C11ORF57, and it remains an uncharacterized open reading frame requiring further functional validation.
CABT-BL509 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL509 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
