General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-07562) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF512, targeting the amino acid region 383–490 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF512 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF512 (Zinc Finger Protein 512) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family that functions primarily as a nuclear transcriptional regulator. It contains multiple zinc finger motifs that enable sequence-specific DNA binding and is generally thought to act as a transcriptional repressor through recruitment of chromatin-modifying complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases, thereby promoting epigenetic gene silencing. ZNF512 is implicated in the regulation of developmental gene expression programs, cellular differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability, consistent with the broader roles of KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins. Although its specific target genes and pathways remain incompletely defined, it is believed to participate in transcriptional networks that influence cell identity and proliferation. Overall, ZNF512 is considered an epigenetic transcription factor, but its precise physiological functions and disease relevance require further experimental validation.
DPABH-07562 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application.
DPABH-07562 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
