It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF404 (Zinc Finger Protein 404) is a human protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19q13.31 that acts as a sequence-specific DNA-binding transcription factor. It plays a role in the regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. It is primarily expressed in the nucleus and is associated with nucleic acid binding.
