This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01218) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human UNC5A, targeting the amino acid region 226–504 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human UNC5A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. UNC5A, also named as KIAA1976 and UNC5H1, belongs to the unc-5 family. It is a receptor for netrin required for axon guidance. It mediates axon repulsion of neuronal growth cones in the developing nervous system upon ligand binding. Axon repulsion in growth cones may be caused by its association with DCC, which may trigger signaling for repulsion. It also acts as a dependence receptor required for apoptosis induction when not associated with the netrin ligand.
DPABH-01218 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-01218 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
