This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01681) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TSEN2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TSEN2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes one of the subunits of the tRNA splicing endonuclease. This endonuclease catalyzes the first step in RNA splicing which is the removal of introns. Mutations in this gene have been associated with pontocerebellar hypoplasia type 2. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 4. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-01681 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:100) applications. DPABH-01681 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
