General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17884) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human TRIM27, targeting the amino acid region 65–160 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TRIM27 from mouse, rat, cow, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. This protein localizes to the nuclear matrix. It interacts with the enhancer of polycomb protein and represses gene transcription. It is also thought to be involved in the differentiation of male germ cells. Fusion of the N-terminus of this protein with the truncated C-terminus of the RET gene product has been shown to result in production of the ret transforming protein.
DPABH-17884 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-17884 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
