General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04779) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TRIM27, targeting the amino acid region 315–513 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TRIM27, also known as Ret Finger Protein (RFP), is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 6p22.1 that encodes a 58 kDa member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family of proteins, specifically the C-IV subfamily, functioning primarily as a RING-domain E3 ubiquitin ligase. The encoded protein, consisting of 533 amino acids, exhibits a conserved N-terminal RING finger domain for ubiquitin transfer, two zinc-binding B-box domains (B1 and B2), a central coiled-coil region for oligomerization, and a C-terminal PRY-SPRY domain for substrate recognition and protein-protein interactions. Expressed ubiquitously at low to moderate levels across tissues, with higher induction by type I interferons and in contexts like viral infection or hematopoietic cells, TRIM27 localizes to the nucleus, cytoplasm, and nuclear bodies, where it mediates diverse post-translational modifications via K48-, K6-, K11-, and K63-linked polyubiquitin chains to regulate protein stability, signaling, and cellular homeostasis.
DPABH-04779 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-04779 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
