This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02822) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TMPRSS4. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the serine protease family. Serine proteases are known to be involved in a variety of biological processes, whose malfunction often leads to human diseases and disorders. This gene was identified as a gene overexpressed in pancreatic carcinoma. The encoded protein is membrane bound with a N-terminal anchor sequence and a glycosylated extracellular region containing the serine protease domain. The protein has been found to promote SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells.
DPABH-02822 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:30–1:150) applications.
DPABH-02822 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
