Synthetic peptide (Human) coupled to a carrier protein, corresponding to amino acids surrounding phospho-Serine 425 in Human Talin 1. This sequence is conserved in rat, mouse, and chicken Talin 1, as well as in Talin 2 (Ser-428).
Probably involved in connections of major cytoskeletal structures to the plasma membrane. High molecular weight cytoskeletal protein concentrated at regions of cell-substratum contact and, in lymphocytes, at cell-cell contacts.
Pathway
Axon guidance; EGF receptor (ErbB1) signaling pathway; Focal adhesion; GRB2:SOS provides linkage to MAPK signaling for Integrins
