General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01264) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human STK24, targeting the amino acid region 320–443 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human STK24 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Serine/threonine-protein kinase 24 (STK24), also named MST3, belonging to GCK subfamily of STE20-like kinases, acts on both serine and threonine residues and promotes apoptosis in response to stress stimuli and caspase activation (PubMed: 10644707, PMID:12107159). STK24 and STK25 operate in the same cardiovascular development pathway with programmed cell death 10 (CCM3) (PMID: 20332113). It regulates axon outgrowth in forebrain neurons (PubMed: 17114295).
DPABH-01264 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-01264 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
