This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17404) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SPCS2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SPCS2 (Signal Peptidase Complex Subunit 2) is a protein-coding gene in humans that acts as a subunit of the signal peptidase complex (SPC) located in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. It is essential for processing N-terminal signal sequences from nascent membrane and secretory proteins, facilitating their maturation. It also plays a role in enhancing the catalytic activity of the complex. DPABH-17404 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications. DPABH-17404 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
