General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11395) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC7A10. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SLC7A10 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Asc-type amino acid transporter 1 (Asc-1), encoded by the human SLC7A10 gene, is a membrane glycoprotein that functions as the light chain of a heterodimeric amino acid transporter complex in the solute carrier family 7 (SLC7). It non-covalently associates with the heavy chain subunit SLC3A2 (also known as 4F2hc) through a conserved disulfide bond at Cys154, forming a functional unit that traffics to the plasma membrane and mediates sodium-independent transport of small neutral amino acids. Primarily operating as an antiporter, Asc-1 facilitates the hetero-exchange of substrates such as glycine, L-serine, D-serine, L-alanine, and L-cysteine across the plasma membrane, with glycine exhibiting the highest affinity.
DPABH-11395 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-11395 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
