This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26090) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC35B2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SLC35B2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sulfotransferases (e.g., SULT4A1; MIM 608359) use an activated form of sulfate, 3-prime-phosphoadenosine 5-prime-phosphosulfate (PAPS), as a common sulfate donor for sulfation of glycoproteins, proteoglycans, and glycolipids in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. SLC35B2 is located in the microsomal membrane and transports PAPS from the cytosol, where it is synthesized, into the Golgi lumen (Kamiyama et al., 2003 [PubMed 12716889]).
DPABH-26090 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-26090 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
