This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27017) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SH3BGR, targeting the amino acid region 1–239 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SH3BGR from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SH3BGR gene maps proximal to HMG14 on 21q22.3 and is differentially expressed in heart and skeletal muscle. SH3BGR encodes a 239-amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a proline-rich region containing the consensus sequence for an SH3-binding domain and by an acidic carboxy-terminal region containing a glutamic acid-rich domain predicted to assume a coiled-coil structure. The presence of 2 functional domains involved in protein-protein interactions suggested to the authors that SH3BGR may be part of a multimeric complex. DPABH-27017 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications. DPABH-27017 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
