General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11248) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SETD3, targeting the amino acid region 1–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SETD3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SETD3 (SET domain protein 3), a ubiquitously expressed protein, is epigenetically up-regulated in response to muscle loading and hypertrophy. The SETD3 mRNA is ubiquitously expressed at a similar basal level in most examined tissues, with the noticeable exception of the skeletal muscle, kidneys, and testes (PMID: 34685411). SETD3 deficient female mice have severely decreased litter sizes due to primary maternal dystocia that is refractory to ecbolic induction agents (PMID: 30626964).
DPABH-11248 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-11248 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
