General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03840) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SERINC3. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SERINC3 (Serine Incorporator 3) is an integral membrane protein that acts as a host restriction factor, inhibiting the infectivity of retroviruses like HIV-1. It disrupts virus-cell membrane fusion by incorporating into the envelope of nascent virions. HIV-1 counters this restriction via its Nef protein, which removes SERINC3 from the cell surface. DPABH-03840 is suitable for use in IHC (1:25–1:100) application. DPABH-03840 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
