General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26296) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RUNX2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RUNX2 from rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RUNX2, also named as AML3, CBFA1, OSF2 and PEBP2A, is a Transcription factor which involved in osteoblastic differentiation and skeletal morphogenesis. It is essential for the maturation of osteoblasts and both intramembranous and endochondral ossification. CBF binds to the core site, 5'-PYGPYGGT-3', of a number of enhancers and promoters, including murine leukemia virus, polyomavirus enhancer, T-cell receptor enhancers, osteocalcin, osteopontin, bone sialoprotein, alpha 1(I) collagen, LCK, IL-3 and GM-CSF promoters By similarity. RUNX2 inhibits MYST4-dependent transcriptional activation.
DPABH-26296 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:250–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800), flow cytometry (FC) (0.40 μg per 10^6 cells in a 100 μl suspension) applications.
DPABH-26296 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
