General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05163) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RRP1, targeting the amino acid region 110–461 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RRP1 (Ribosomal RNA Processing 1; also known as NOP52) is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes ribosomal RNA processing protein 1 homolog A, a key component involved in the maturation and processing of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) within the nucleolus. Located on the long arm of chromosome 21 at position 21q22.3, the gene spans approximately 16 kilobases and produces a 461-amino-acid protein that functions primarily in the nucleus as part of the rRNA processing machinery. This protein is the human ortholog of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rrp1p, which participates in the cleavage and modification steps essential for ribosome biogenesis, ensuring the production of functional ribosomes critical for protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells.
DPABH-05163 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IF/ICC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-05163 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
