General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00655) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPL5, targeting the amino acid region 178–297 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RPL5 from mouse, rat, and monkey. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The mammalian ribosome is a macromolecular assembly of 4 RNA species (rRNAs) and approximately 80 different proteins, including RPL5. RPL5 (ribosome protein L15) is rquired for rRNA maturation and formation of the 60S ribosomal subunits, and defects or mutation in RPL5 is the cause of DBA6.
DPABH-00655 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:200–1:800), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-00655 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
