This product (Catalog No. DPABH-15698) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human RGS2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RGS2 from rat and mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family members are regulatory molecules that act as GTPase activating proteins (GAPs) for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. RGS proteins are able to deactivate G protein subunits of the Gi alpha, Go alpha and Gq alpha subtypes. They drive G proteins into their inactive GDP-bound forms. Regulator of G protein signaling 2 belongs to this family. The protein acts as a mediator of myeloid differentiation and may play a role in leukemogenesis. DPABH-15698 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications. DPABH-15698 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
