This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01436) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human REEP5, targeting the amino acid region 101–189 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with REEP5 from mouse, rat, pig, and horse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. REEP5 (Receptor Expression Enhancing Protein 5) is a conserved membrane protein essential for shaping the sarco-endoplasmic reticulum (SR/ER) in cardiomyocytes, crucial for maintaining normal cardiac calcium metabolism and contractility. It acts as a membrane sculptor, and its depletion leads to cardiac dysfunctional, vacuolization, and increased cellular stress.
DPABH-01436 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-01436 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
