This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27368) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RECK. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RECK from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a cysteine-rich, extracellular protein with protease inhibitor-like domains whose expression is suppressed strongly in many tumors and cells transformed by various kinds of oncogenes. In normal cells, this membrane-anchored glycoprotein may serve as a negative regulator for matrix metalloproteinase-9, a key enzyme involved in tumor invasion and metastasis. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-27368 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-27368 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
