This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08437) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human RAC2, targeting the amino acid region 89–180 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RAC2 from rat, mouse, chicken, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins. Members of this superfamily appear to regulate a diverse array of cellular events, including the control of cell growth, cytoskeletal reorganization, and the activation of protein kinases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-08437 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-08437 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
