This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28426) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RAC2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RAC2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the Ras superfamily of small guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-metabolizing proteins. The encoded protein localizes to the plasma membrane, where it regulates diverse processes, such as secretion, phagocytosis, and cell polarization. Activity of this protein is also involved in the generation of reactive oxygen species. Mutations in this gene are associated with neutrophil immunodeficiency syndrome. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 6.
DPABH-28426 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:100) applications.
DPABH-28426 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
