This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13851) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human RAB5A, targeting the amino acid region 8–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RAB5A from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Enables GDP binding activity; GTP binding activity; and GTPase activity. Involved in several processes, including amyloid-beta clearance by transcytosis; early endosome to late endosome transport; and regulation of exocytosis. Located in several cellular components, including cytoplasmic side of early endosome membrane; nucleoplasm; and terminal bouton.
DPABH-13851 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-13851 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
