This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10502) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PROM2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PROM2, also named as prominin 2, encodes a member of the prominin family of pentaspan membrane glycoproteins. The encoded protein localizes to basal epithelial cells and may be involved in the organization of plasma membrane microdomains. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. PROM2 has 2 isoforms with the MW of 86 kDa and 41 kDa. DPABH-10502 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application. DPABH-10502 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
