This product (Catalog No. CPBT-56975RH) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PROM2, targeting the amino acid region 301–400 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PROM2 from mouse, rat, dog, and pig. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of the prominin family of pentaspan membrane glycoproteins. The encoded protein localizes to basal epithelial cells and may be involved in the organization of plasma membrane microdomains. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
CPBT-56975RH is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CPBT-56975RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
