General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19545) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PPFIBP2, targeting the amino acid region 577–876 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PPFIBP2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PPFIBP2 (PTPRF Interacting Protein Binding Protein 2), also known as liprin-β2, is a cytoplasmic scaffold protein involved in organizing protein complexes at the plasma membrane and regulating cell adhesion and signaling. It interacts with members of the liprin family and with receptor protein tyrosine phosphatases such as PTPRF, contributing to the assembly of focal adhesions and the regulation of cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions. PPFIBP2 plays important roles in cytoskeletal organization, synaptic function in neurons, and intracellular signaling pathways that control cell migration and structural stability. It is broadly expressed, with notable functions in the nervous system where it contributes to synapse formation and maintenance. Dysregulation of PPFIBP2 has been implicated in cancer progression and metastatic behavior, likely due to its role in modulating adhesion and signaling dynamics.
DPABH-19545 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications.
DPABH-19545 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
