General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14205) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PIWIL4, targeting the amino acid region 544–852 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PIWIL4 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PIWIL4 (PiWI-like RNA-mediated gene silencing 4) is a member of the PIWI protein family and is mainly involved in the development and maintenance of reproductive stem cells. PIWIL4 regulates the biosynthesis and function of piRNA in germ cells by binding to PIWI-interacting RNA (piRNA). Furthermore, PIWIL4 is abnormally expressed in a variety of cancers and plays a promoting role in cancer. DPABH-14205 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000) application. DPABH-14205 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
