General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26300) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PIK3C2G, targeting the amino acid region 11–336 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PIK3C2G from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PIK3C2G is a human gene located on chromosome 12p12.3 that encodes the phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 2 gamma, a member of the class II phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) family. This enzyme functions as a lipid kinase that phosphorylates the D-3 position of the inositol ring in phosphoinositides, primarily generating phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns3P) and phosphatidylinositol 3,4-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4)P2), which serve as second messengers in various cellular signaling pathways. Expressed predominantly in tissues such as the stomach, skin, mammary gland, liver, and prostate, PIK3C2G plays essential roles in regulating cell proliferation, survival, migration, oncogenic transformation, and intracellular protein trafficking.
DPABH-26300 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-26300 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
