This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26366) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PEX11A, targeting the amino acid region 1–247 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PEX11A from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Peroxisomes are ubiquitous organelles bound by a single membrane. Peroxisomal biogenesis factor 11 alpha (PEX11A) is one of PEX11 gene family members involved in peroxisome elongation. PEX11A is highly expressed in the kidney and liver (PMID: 25113963). PEX11A deficiency will impaire peroxisome elongation, leading to the reduction of functional peroxisome, eventually leading to the reduction of fatty acid oxidation capacity and the formation of steatosis (PMID: 23169785; PMID: 25113963). DPABH-26366 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application. DPABH-26366 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
