Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human pyrimidinergic receptor P2Y, G-protein coupled, 6
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21822) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human P2RY6. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with P2RY6 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The product of this gene belongs to the family of P2 receptors, which is activated by extracellular nucleotides and subdivided into P2X ligand-gated ion channels and P2Y G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor, which is a G-protein coupled receptor, is responsive to UDP, partially responsive to UTP and ADP, and not responsive to ATP. It is proposed that this receptor mediates inflammatory responses. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms.
DPABH-21822 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-21822 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
